Rodman making Kurt Thomas lose it, which resulted in Thomas slamming him and getting ejected. That Shaquile dunk on Chris Dudley. It was a very physical game.

Bird was so cold blooded. Some awesome anecdotes floating around about him.

Gilbert Arenas shares a story where the Nuggets are blowing out the Lakers and Kobe sees Melo laughing on the sideline. At the time Melo was leading the league in scoring by a healthy margin with 30+ PPG (to Kobe's ~28 PPG). Kobe takes exception to Melo's light-heartedness and lets him know that even though the Nuggets were going to win the game, Melo wasn't going to win the scoring title.
Sure enough, on 03/15/2007, the Nuggets blew out the Lakers in Denver by 27 points.
Kobe then followed up that Denver game with a 5 game stretch where he scored 65, 50, 60, 50, and 43 points. With 12 games left in the season, Kobe went on to have a 53, 46, 50, and 50 point game. In that 17 game stretch to end the season, Kobe averaged 40.3 PPG on 47.44% shooting to overtake Carmelo Anthony and win the 2007 scoring title.
