Well, one of the first things I noticed is that we have some marquee games out of conference. A possible matchup with Duke in the NIT, Texas at home, going to Michigan, and Kentucky at MSG will be exciting to watch for sure.

STORRS - Jasper Howard, a 5-foot-9, 174-pound starting cornerback on the UConn football team, died today after an on-campus stabbing.

According to multiple sources, Howard, 20, was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Coach Randy Edsall spent the night at St. Francis.

espn is absolutely sh*ting on uconn lately..first pat forde writes a preview/ last decade review without even mentioning the huskies once (even omiting the 2004 as one of the best championship teams of the decade)...then andy katz writes a column about the 25 must see games of the season and includes 0 UConn games...is he retarted? is he forgeting dec 9, uconn against kentucky, MSG, calhoun vs. calipari, walker vs. wall????????????..not to mention out of conference games against texas, michigan, lsu, probably duke, and the rematch of the 6 OT game against syracuse..

im starting to think that calhoun did something to piss the espn guys off (which is possible).

Nice blowout win against LSU.

In my opinion, Duke looks very slow and UConn should be able to take advantage of that on Friday. However, they will need to stay out of foul trouble and hit some 3 pointers, because Duke will have to sag off kemba and dyson, because they are way too slow to think about pressuring them.
