This would be such an easy question to answer if Stuckey had an outside shot...
Yea I want to see him be the defensive specialist on the starting squad and spot up 3 to spread the floor. Then have a rotation of Billups coming in at point and have Jennings pop in to the 2. But I don't know. Cheeks will figure it out, he's smart.

Billups would be the 2 and Jennings would be the PG.

I watched the Lakers vs. Kings tonight and McLemore looked like he should be starting. He's looked better tonight than he previously did. I think he'll probably be the starting SG there game 1.

Yeah I think if we snagged him at #8 we would start him too purely because he was touted to go as high as #1... He is viewed more of a player that can turn a franchise around compared to KCP's potential to be a great complimentary piece...

Sometimes I wish Kings took Burke or that Smart stayed in the draft so we could of got a potential #1 at pick 8 just because of the value it would of been, a potential #1 slipping to 8...

But I am happy with KCP - I have a good feeling about him...

Absolutely it would've been almost insane if McLemore would've dropped to us. Especially after we had guys like Knight, Monroe, and Drummond fall to us. The Kings always seem to get that guy (McLemore, Cousins) lol. The big thing too is we aren't going to have a first rounder this year too so getting McLemore would've really finished out our lineup for us. Anyway around it I'm fine with KCP too. I think he's a good consolation. We just have to cross our fingers and hope he turns out being the better player. We have to remember he was the higher rated guy coming out of high school. He has a lot of potential too. I just need to see the guy knock down his shots consistently.

we may have. They would have rejected it immediately. What do they want Stuckey's 8 million dollar contract for and how are they going to fit it under the cap?

I was thinking we probably made an offer to a few teams to move up once we saw McLemore slipping. I'm guessing it didn't happen because there were guys that other teams wanted in those spots too.

The SG of the draft that I was wrong about so far is Oladipo. Even though it's only preseason he has played extremely well.

KCP looked better yesterday. He still didn't shoot all that well, but he did look like he has promise and could potentially start. The preseason is so tough to judge. Remember when Austin Daye used to average over 20 in the preseason then going into the season he couldn't get it done? Yesterday he had another good preseason game, lol. I don't think we'll know exactly what we have with KCP until real games start to get played.

Yeah KCP played well, but how about Tony Mitchell!! Looks like a more versatile maxiell out there yesterday, 10 points 10 rebounds, super athletic... I like this kid,

Also, Bynum has been tearing it up, 28 points first game, 11 assists in his second game - undeniable chemistry with Drummod... Him and Stuckey's game both rely around penetration, neither can shoot very well. Stuckey has size but Bynum has court vision. Before this season I was thinking we don't need both. With Bynum's stellar play in pre-season, do you think we are able to trade Stuckey away and play a 4 guards rotation of Jennings, KCP, Bynum, Billups, or will that be too small? Singler can help out with size at the 2 if need be...

I just don't think we need both Stuckey and Bynum....

    haha good call.

If anything - I like this kids attitude, toughness and athleticism. Daye relied too much on raw skill, atleast Mitchell is a battler...

Not expecting him to be a huge part of the rotation this year, but wouldn't mind seeing him get a few minutes here and there...

    Drummond
    Smith
    Mitchell

Hands down the most athletic front court if we see this lineup at some stage through the year...

You are the first person to say that 2nd rounders usually don't work out or last, and you were spot on with English. But I truly think Mitchell has a chance to be a colt bench player for us - he did have lottery like potential after all... We shall see...

Mitchell is a guy who has a chance. Even though he's a 2nd round pick I do like him. I think he'll get a few minutes this year. I'm sure he'll end up in the D League for a while too, but I think we'll see him on the court some for the Pistons too.
