This euro isn't as good as last editions, lots of players missing.
Russia basically played without its 2 best players and other elements, and I'm dying to finally see a complete serbian team, even though Peja declined a bit.
Hope France get to the semis, they're playing good ball.

Peja would never make that Serbian squad.

Why ? It's been a long time that Serbia (or Serbia & Montenegro) didn't bring their 'real' team.

Every single player on Serbia's team is much better than Peja is.

I wouldn't exaggerate, but I said he isn't what he used to.
Damn, that late 90's & early 00's Youguslavia squad was nice

France is playing poorly in this game. I don't think they will coin a comeback.
27-43 with 1 minute left in the 2 QT, Spain's waking up these last 2-3 games.

Pedja didnt do much for the team even when he was in prime.
Now he would be useless..
Radmanovic is also similar..
Jaric was the worst point guard..
They cant measure up to the greatness of Djordjevic, Bodiroga..
Djordjevic was my favorite player, still a legend

Quite an antii-climax for France, they go from undefeated to getting their asses kicked, and that's it, its over for them.

What a dominate performance from Pau and Spain. I would expect them to win it now.

Re: 2009 European basketball championship (Eurobasket) discussion
France just got pushed around... Spain was too strong for them, they couldn't compete athletically. Spain is looking good now, and is probably expected to win it all again.
Serbia's new generation is great, and I won't be surprised if they win some major competitions in the coming years. Theodosic and Kristic could lead them to win the Eurobasket in 2011.
So far my predictions were right, we'll see what happens next!

Greece beat Turkey by 2 after overtime. Very interesting game.
How the things are going now Croatia will beat Slovenia, score is 47-34...
