Anyways here is some more stuff I have gathered.
-Miles never played for UConn, UConn wasted a scholarship on him so that hurt them already.
-Texting recruits was banned in 07, Miles was being recruited in 06.
-What major college team doesn't call a player more than once a month?
Dang. We are dirty now? Some people take it to extremes. The same with the "Calhoun is a scumbag" comment. People don't even know the guy.

It would be a huge mistake to say UConn is dirty "now," because that would imply that it just started being that way.

Re: Connecticut Huskies fan thread
Do you have inside information that the rest of us don't have? I have been following UConn my whole life. There has been some controversy with a few different things but UConn has never been considered dirty on a national scale. Some of the players have gotten in trouble but the only violation that I really remember is from 1996 when 2 players received a free plane ticket to go back home.
Maybe you are referring to the Rudy Gay situation where UConn scrimmaged his AAU team which brought the AAU team a lot of money. I believe a rule was instituted to not allow that later on, but at the time it was legal.

Re: Connecticut Huskies fan thread
Mark my words , piss poor free throw shooting is going to be our downfall sooner or later . 2 for 8 in the first half . Thabeet has missed 3 of 4 !

Good game Mizzou... looked like they would just roll over at the beginning and came back to make it close. I'll admit a lot of bad words were said.

Nice job by UConn.
All this without Dyson- that makes this even more impressive.
I admit, I was rooting against the 2006 team because they seemed to rub me the wrong way (something abut laptops being stolen)- in contrast, Hasheem Thabeet seems like a nice guy who plays mean defense.
Also, this team they beat a GOOD team in the West Regional Final.
No offense, but the two title teams faced a 10 and 8 seed, respectively- this year, they beat a very good Mizzou team.

That Mizzou team was good. Tough way to get into the Final Four for UConn.

UCONN 26 for 32 from the free throw line . Keep that % up and we win the Championship . Mizzou only 6 for 12 .
