However, after that season, the FIBA SuproLeague was dissolved and absorbed into the Euroleague. As part of this arrangement, the Euroleague agreed to recognize the championship and awards of that competition. However, the SuproLeague MVP award, while recognized, is not considered a Euroleague MVP, but rather a SuproLeague MVP. Just as all the stats from the FIBA SuproLeague competition are recognized, but are not considered to be Euroleague stats.
