    Chalkmaze - STOP.

No more pictures. No more comments about Russia.

Your screaming we do not want to hear. Pathetic graphics and minimalist historical perspective is not useful. The geopolitical discussion of the Russia and other periphery European states were a talking points in the 17th and 18th centuries, not now.

Stick to commenting on basketball. And please remember, that some of the posters here have much knowledge to share, which would be beneficial to listen to, rather than argue with.

Why did people start arguing anyway, the part of russia AK-47 came from is European hence the reason why he is in the 'European top 10'. And as far as i know Nash played for Manchester and one of his Birth parents is English, thats what ive been told. Complain all u want i dun care... this thread has been ruined by Big Headed Degree holders and historians who cannot stand down. END OF!!

Russia is in Europe politically. It plays the European Championships. Geographically, most of its territory is in Asia. (There are a chain of mountains between Europe and Asia) Russia is not in the EU at all.

    top ten European players
    1.Dirk Nowitzki
    2.Pau Gasol
    3.Luol Deng
    4.Bargnani
    5.Tony Parker
    6.Kirilenko
    7.Jose Calderon
    8.Stojakovic
    9.Okur
    10.Garbajosa

By the way, I don't understand why you use the expressi

Yao is my first because he is the most dominating guy by far, the most difficult to defend and a good defender. He always makes the difference.

Regarding Papaloukas and Ginobili, I had a doubt there. Stats are similar for both (in a 40min comparison) but Papaloukas plays more, let's say, elegantly. The final choice was more esthetic 'cos I see them very close. May be a silly argument, but that's how it came to my mind.
