[QUOTE=Hyman]France is not playing a great basketball at all
.....appart from Parker and a little bit Diaw, they lat skill.
They've got also pretty poor centers and power forwards offensively. Diaw is playing as a small forward
I agree France isn't playing great basketball, yet! The game against Russia was way better.
About the lack of talent, obviously you don't know Nicolas Batum, Nando de Colo, Ali Traor

Germany put up a surprisingly good fight with a roster consisting mostly of no-names. Their PG, Schaffarzik exploded for 23 points on 8-8 shooting off the bench

This stage is the last group stage.
2 groups of 6 teams each. The first 4 of each square off in the QF.

also, the results of the first group stage are taken into this round. This means, for example, that Germany's win over Russia counts in this stage as well, and they won't play each other again.

Yep, that's why Greece and France began with a 2-0 advantage.

Macedonia seems very weak to me. I don't understand how they could challenge Croatia and beat Israel.
Next step for France against a much stronger Croatia. Maybe we will see if France is a contender for a medal in this Euro.
