NBA Finals MVP is a VERY elite award and only the very best have won at least two in their careers. Just look at the list of who's who (with at least 2 Finals MVPs)

Magic
Bird
Hakeem
Kareem
Wilt
Willis Reed
Tim Duncan

Please tell me what other award we can use that determines who are the very best in NBA history? It's VERY clear that any player that's won 2 Finals MVPs is in elite company.

Russell would have the most if it existed in his time, and it's flawed the way they give the award. A player can be the most valuable player on the court in the series and still not win because his team isn't as good as the other team. Taking away Iggy from the series would have impacted the series less than taking away Lebron from the series, Iggy still won.

All these guys had Hall of Fame team mates so they didn't get doubled every time they passed half court.

Curry is the only one to do it....he is on a higher level than the guys you mentioned.

this guy is having a straight meltdown about curry not winning FMVP... new thread about it every single day. you can tell he is doing everything in his power to undermine curry not winning.

how many times has the regular season mvp gone on to win the nba finals and not received a single vote for the finals mvp....

you can downplay the award if you want but your making yourself look bad and I'm kinda starting to feel bad for you.
