Why? What made Dwight better than Paul in the 2011 Playoffs? I am not saying you are wrong, I just wanna hear your side of the argument.

If you wanna know why I feel Chris Paul was better, it was because the Hornets weren't even suppose to win a game. Everybody predicted that the Hornets-Lakers series was going to be a sweep in favor of the Lakers. David West was out for the series and for the season due to a freakish knee injury and the Hornets ended up winning 2 games out of 6 against the Lakers. The Magic were the favorites and suppose to win that series, but they ended up losing in 6.

Chris Paul exceeded expectations in the 2011 playofs while Dwight Howard did not meet his.

I am guessing you don't know how horribly inefficient Rose was in the 2011 playoffs. The only good series Derrick Rose had was against the Hawks and he only shot 45% for the series. He shot 37% in the first round against the Pacers and 35% in the ECF against the Heat. He shot 40% in the entire 2011 post-season which is very inefficient.

Averaging 24 shots per game and only scoring 27 ppg is really not good.

He did what he had to do in order for them to win, and he lead them to the ECF.. Stats are overrated.

Melo put up 26\10\5 on 37%. 22 shots to get 26 points. Had one out standing game. NY was banged up but he got swept against a Boston team that didn't even make it out of the 2nd round. Just not sure how you can say he had a top 5 playoffs without massive bias.

2 out of the 4 games he played he only scored 15 points on 25% and and 27%. FG% isn't everything but even his volume wasn't good.

Just curious as to why you think he had a top 5 playoff, is it because of that one crazy 42 point game?
