To everyone who posted and quoted the 95 bullets? How can you forget the 97 bullets? The most successful one?

    Strickland - 6'3
    Cheaney - 6'7
    Howard - 6'9
    Webber - 6'10 (i know bbref says 6'9 but I see pachulia being 6'11)
    Gheorghe - 7'7

Bullets at point had this lineup:

    7-7 Muresan
    6-10 Webber
    6-9 Howard
    6-7 Cheaney
    ?????

Bulls swept them in the first round.

well, since we are using listed heights for everyone, it shouldnt matter. besides, there is no authoritative "true" height list so **** off.

Found this interesting little tidbit in Muresan's wiki. Not the NBA, but still pretty crazy promotional stunt.

On March 11, 2007, Mureșan played a game for the Maryland Nighthawks as part of the tallest lineup in the history of basketball.[2] This is the only basketball game Mureșan has ever played where he was not the tallest person on the court, as Sun Mingming is 7' 9" (2.36 m).

Lucas did not play in the 1986 Playoffs due to drug problems, and the Rockets started Robert Reid, who was 6' 8". That adds 5 inches to the total, making it 409.

So they were even taller in the playoffs, and made the 1986 Finals.

    How about this one...

    2005 Rockets
    Rafer Alston - 6'2"
    Chuck Hayes - 6'6"
    Tracy McGrady - 6'8"
    Shane Battier - 6'8"
    Yao Ming - 7'6"

It is amazing how close these top ones are. 34'3" is still standing.
Yeye, fair enough. I was just doing the math.

    2009 Toronto Raptors

    Jose Calderon - 6'3"
    Anthony Parker - 6'6"
    Andrea Bargnani - 7'0"
    Chris Bosh - 6'10"

Technically the tallest starting five to ever grace an NBA basketball court would be the 2005 West-Allstar Starters..

    G Kobe Bryant 6'6
    G Tracy Mcgrady 6'8
    F Kevin Garnett 6'11
    F Tim Duncan 6'11
    C Yao Ming 7'6

    Grand total of 414 inches.
