Sliders that you can adjust to make each team play like it should:

    Game tempo
    Crash boards
    Fast break
    Def. pressure
    Bench usage
    Help defense strength
    Help recovery speed
    Pound ball inside
    Settle for jumpers
    Rely on 3pt shot
    Attack the basket
    Finish strong at basket
    Look for post players
    Prefer 1 on 1 play
    Tend to overdribble
    Use finesse inside
    Follow missed shots
    Pass w/ Flair
    Prone to foul
    Clog passing lanes
    Reach on def.
    Contest shots

yeah I'll take the Grizz no problem, I doubt anyone will argue, as you said.
I still have to sort out my internet access to the 360, but I have til the 25th so I'm sure I can get it setup by then.

Is there some draft system if 2 people want the same team? I'm pretty sure I called the Lakers in the first thread

edit: Oh, we're doing a fantasy draft? That's cool but I think we should have a cap on player ratings. For example:

    1st round - 90+ player.
    2nd round - 80+ player.
    3rd round - 70+ player.
    4th round and below - 60+ players.

Otherwise it's gonna be a bunch of allstar teams lol

    Can't wait.

This plus NFL 2K5 are the reasons I'm still holding off on buying an XBox 360. The amount of editing options you have with those games if you have an Action Replay is incredible.

Konex, if I'm the commish, you can have the Lakers. You're the only one with experience running these leagues, and your advice is vaulable. I disagree with the caps though, because I don't mind all star teams. Who knows how many teams we'll have? If we had 16, it wouldn't be a problem at all.

    Hey, thanks! :)

And you won't mind allstar teams at first but I promise after 3 or 4 games, everyone will hate it (at least that's what happened when we tried it last year lol)

Games won't be won with defense or strategy anymore. It'll be which stars got hot or who got lucky. Also, the stats will be ridiculous!

But whatever everyone wants to do is cool. My regular league is standard so this would be a change of pace

If we have 16 teams, each team would have about 2 all stars, and 2 borderline allstars, right? Sounds like the Suns to me. Maybe we just need to make sure that game lengths and fatigue are such that the bench plays an important role.

16 teams is fine for a fantasy draft, i did them on 2k6 until i broke my copy. The only bad thing is that i drafted too good and dominated my whole leage. Every1 took scorers. I took the few players who could stop scorers from scoring in the paint, i had Yao Ming, Tyson Chandler, and Prysbiilla(sp) I wasnt fun because I won every game by like 40

This was pretty much my team in a 16 team draft

Mobley/ Saranus or Mike JAmes I forget
    Vince/ R. McCants
    Odom/ Steven Jackson
    Tyson Chadler/ Brian Cook
    Yao Ming/ Joel Prys

doesnt look good but I used early picks on Ming and Chandler and they were the reason I dominated.

Looking at how the player rating system seems to be shaping up I'm more looking foward to the 2K7 roster editor that will come out after the game.

I think I may finally be able to recreate the authenticity in on-court play I had with NBA Inside Drive. With the bonus of a really good franchise mode.
