There are some good games if you know where to go and when to go, but basketball for me the last couple of years is more about the socialization than the competition. It's good to ball with the guys I grew up with and played with who I don't get to see much anymore.

The general level of comp I play with overall is not as good as what I used to play with in leagues, though, which featured D1/semi-pro level players. I used to play ~4 hours every school day and ~8 hours every day in the Summer (I'm sure I'm not the only one who had that sort of playing schedule. ); now I play about once each week (if that) for 3-5 hours at a time.

EDIT: Yeah, born and raised in Bklyn.

Not everyone who says negative things about Kobe is a Jordan lover. Eventhough I think he's lightyears above Kobe and is probably the best ever, I am not a fan of his. Get over yourself you Kobe jock rider.
