I'll be casting my vote today at about noon MST. Have to drive 45 minutes north to my parents house to vote though.
Please god let Colorado go Democrat this year.

Since it looks like Obama and the Democrats are gonna win across the board, its time to think damage control. What will be the tax ramifications for people like myself whe earn under 100K/year?

If you're under 100k, Obama won't raise your taxes. But if, like me, you live in Mass you lost all of your money to income tax anyway so wouldn't notice even if he did.

that site is pretty interesting. I mostly clicked on the 3rd party, no vote and mccain ones. some of the mccain ones are unintentionally funny. Gotta love people who vote for a president based on abortion. At best the pres will nominate 1 or 2 sc justices. even then, what are the chances that RvW (the one supreme court case that Palin can name ) gets overturned. slim to none frankly.

Anyone know the record for voter turnout percentage? We gonna break it this year?
And what happens if you voted early, we'll say one week ago, but got run over by a bus yesterday and died? Still count?

I seriously doubt you'll break the record turnout. Elections back into the 19th and 18th centuries had insanely high turnout rates, partially because the eligible voters were a smaller group and were a more homogeneous ensemble, but more importantly democracy was a newer concept and there was more of a direct connection between the eligible voter demographic and what was happening in governance. You might see a record number of total votes today, but you'll never get the turnout percentage up to 80% or 90% like it once was.
