    I'm going to rule out religion or terrorism on this one...if it was either of those things someone would have claimed it, or he would have made it clear himself. That is the entire point of terrorism, if no one knows it is terrorism then it defeats the purpose.

    Also going to rule out normal depression, depressed people generally don't care about killing others, they only want to end their own life. If he was just suffering extreme depression he would have just killed himself that morning, no reason to take others down with him.

    So that leaves us with severe mental disorders...and that is my guess. Schizophrenia, severe bipolar disorder, etc etc. That is where my money is at.

    We may never find out though...
