Jefferson is in another stratosphere in terms of offensive ability. Thats a fact, but Bynum(when he puts his mind into it) is a much better defensive player. The only problem is Bynum has become enamored with scoring

Eh no. Thing with Bynum is that when he gets touched, he's happy. He grabs boards as it's become apparent these past few games, he's smiling, he's blocking shots and his man to man D is legit. He's doing everything.

At this point in their careers Al Jefferson better than Andrew Bynum. Could that change next year? Absolutely. Bynum has had a great stretch of games, and he finally looks to be regaining the form of last season where he was really coming into his own. But you have to go by longevity, and Al Jefferson has produced consistently 20-10 for 2 seasons now. But if I was a GM and I had to choose between Jefferson or Bynum, I would choose Bynum.

Bynum 27/15 on 10/15 FG in 30 minutes. Jefferson 34/13 on 13/27 FG in 42 minutes. Bynum had the better game.

I'm very impressed with Bynum's recent effort, especially on D. He had like 5 massive blocks in the last game. And he is averaging double digits in rebounding. When he plays so well defesively, the offense will come to him...

You Lakers fans are getting really obnoxious. So Bynum strings together a nice set of games, and all of the sudden he's the best center in the league? C'mon.

yes i know Bynum had the better but as other people have stated, RIGHT now in their careers Big Al is a better player. there is no possible way you can say Bynum is better

    14 pts 8 rbs 2 bpg

    vs

    22.7 pts 10.5 rbs 1.6 bpg

especially when you consider Al is a better shooter

Thats the point. Bynum is benefiting heavily from having Kobe Bryant on his team. It was clear that the Lakers entire gameplan revolved around stopping Al while it was a entirely different story with the T-Wolves. That being said..I'd take Bynum over Al without hesitation.

Exactly. Out of respect for Al Jefferson you can't say Bynum is the better player until he does what he's been doing the past couple of weeks consistently.

Would you rather have Al Jefferson or Andrew Bynum?
