Default With Rick Perry openly contemplating the secession of Texas...

Am I alone in thinking the Republican Party has gone insane?

These wingnuts are out of control. Imagine if Obama had "won" like Bush did vs. Gore

    Just Rick Perry.

If Texas secedes, Texas and the US both lose. Texans and americans should be against this.

These are just everyday citizens just rising up against a weak and failing government.

But it's not the first time Texas has tried to stick it to the U.S. for not pulling their weight.

ohh Rick. I've met him several times and think he is a nice enough guy but sometimes he just makes me shake my head.

I am pretty sure Texas (and every other Confederate state) gave up the right to secede as a prerequisite to rejoin the Union following the Civil War anyway

Plus, I really dont think rick Perry is contemplating but it's just the citizens doing so.

If it gets citizens aware of how then I really dont care. Anyways, texans have a right to complain as being the most successful state in the nation.

Just caught some of the teabag coverage on TV (ie. redneck gathering) and the right wing fringe is actually scary.

These zombies are protesting higher taxes when their taxes are getting cut.

They are against bailouts (which are necessary) but the GOP President proposed and started them.

They are against spending but the GOP President is the one who went to an unnecessary war and spent an insane amount of money.

They want freedom but it was the GOP President who made it legal to listen in on their phone calls.

Seriously, what is going on with these crazies? Never mind the racist undertones of some of these signs that were being paraded today, the fact that some of them are just disturbing (in the video below a guy with a flag where a chopped off right arm is holding a bloody sword because he fears tyranny, this whole sentiment of "government is coming to steal my guns"). I mean this is actually getting insane. The fact that a whole news network was promoting this makes this even sadder.

^ WTF. Ted Nugent and Glenn Beck are the spokesmen for these people?

It's kind of funny but this post pretty much proved what me, nexxus, wtfmonkey and rasheed1 have been saying all along.

There is no difference between the two parties.

And Obama has defended Bush's wiretapping.

Economists around the globe have already predicted the seperation of the United States. It's not far fetched to consider that certain states will want to become their own Countries if it is in their best interest. The main issue will be establishing a standing Army that could defy the US Military. Probably not that hard considering most of our Military is deployed overseas, and our National Gaurd is a joke that can't even secure our own borders.
