With the 39th pick in the ISH NFL Mock Draft, Statman32 selects...

    Michael Roos, LT, Tennessee Titans

Gave up only 1 sack all year despite protecting a immobile quarterback and facing some of the best defensive ends in the NFL like Mario Williams 2x, Jared Allen, Haloti Ngata 2x, Dwight Freeney 2x, Aaron Smith.

Roos has started every game in four seasons as a Titan after earning NCAA Football Championship Subdivision All-America honors and Lineman of the Year accolades as an Eagle senior in 2004. Recently, Paul Zimmerman from Sports Illustrated selected Roos to his mid-season All-Pro team.

The 6-foot-7, 315 pound Roos is part of an offensive line that has allowed an NFL-low eight sacks in 2008. He has played a key role in opening holes for the league’s fifth-ranked rushing attack that features Pro Bowler Chris Johnson (1,159 yards, 8 TDs) and LenDale White (700 yards), who is tied for second in the league with 14 rushing touchdowns.

Roos, a second-round pick out of Eastern Washington in 2005, has started 62 consecutive regular season games at tackle for the Titans. He played a key role in Tennessee’s franchise-record 332 rushing yards in Week 7 at Kansas City.

Including 35 starts to end his EWU career, Roos enters Tennessee's pivotal home game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 21 having made 114 consecutive starts as an offensive tackle. His last 79 starts have come as a Titan (one AFC playoff game, 62 regular season games and 16 pre-season contests).

    Pro Bowl selection (2008)
    All-Pro selection (2008)
