Re: Who's got the balls to say Stephen Curry will be the best PG/SG taken in this draft
Pro's And Con's:
Pro's-He can shoot with the best of them, his stroke is pure gold where in, you beleive that every shot this kid takes is gonna go into the bucket no matter where he shoots it from, ala Dale Ellis (from the 86' period to the 91' period).
His passing has vasly improved from his sophmore year (which I was very skeptical about), he makes pin-point razer passes from any length between point A to point B.
Con's-His strength in the NBA, meaning, has he grown into his mature body yet? Can he fight through screens? Will he be able to deal with the bumps and bruise's?
His Ball handling, its been shaky a few times this year, I've seen him fail to dribble through ball hawking defense, although there's times where he makes the spectacular dribble move, but as of being able to consistantly control the ball? There's a BIG if there.
All things aside, I think Curry would make a Great Combo like gaurd like a Iverson or as mentioned Gilbert Areanas, and coming off a bench as a 6th man from the start, but as his body and mind mature's, he will become more of a Star. Best fit for him would be to play with an Orlando (with Dwight in the post) or Cleavland (with LeBron driving and dishing).

Curry aint no Gilbert Arenas. Stop with the Overating. Curry = JJ redick so far. Until he proves otherwise.

It really depends on the team.
If Reddick is placed in a more favorable situtation, he would be much better than he is right now

Will it?
He isn't as quick as Boobie and he still gives up 4 3-4 inches to standard SG's.
Not to mention Boobie is quick enough to guard points, which Stephen really isn't.

For all we know Stephen like 80% of college players is over measured.
If that is the case...then my comparison stands Stephen Curry = Boobie Gibson.

Have you guys watched Curry this year? First off based off watching him this year, I doubt he will have any problem being a point guard in the NBA, and based off his shot-making ability if he is not the ROY I will be surprised. I can't believe people here are comparing him to JJ Reddick and Boobie Gibson.

Exactly who Curry reminds me of. I still think he'll be better than JJ, but he'll be similar.

For some reason, I could see him doing well in Dallas, too, and maybe Detroit. I just hope for his sake that he isn't drafted by a team like Minnesota or Memphis, since I could easily see him busting there.

I think that's yet to be really determined. Any team drafting him without full knowing his liability on the defensive end is dumb. I think he has a chance to be a good player for any team that drafts him, whether off the bench or in the starting line up. I would just put a smart guard next to him. He rushes his decisions right now. He's either too quick with the pass too slow, he'll need experience to get it just right.
Besides, Gibson never did what Stephen has done as a point guard in college. I was never impressed by Gibson when he was at Texas, at least not as much as I am of Stephen.

It's really tough to say. I'm afraid that he may end up like Acie Law; put on a team that isn't fitting for him and he just fades away to obscurity. I hope the team that drafts him know what to expect and know what they want because he can easily become a guy that falls through the cracks.
