I may get flamed for this....But the Dr. J's Dunk against Cooper's half hearted attempt at blocking it... Iv'e seen about 8 LeBron Power JAMS way better than that, yet this gets played on so many NBA ads....

Michael Jordan's uncontested layup with A.C. Green and Sam Perkins standing nearby

Why is that play so overrated? Useless hand switch....

Kobe Bryant's falling, double-clutch banker over the Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard, who was all over him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMwbs...e=channel_page

Kobe's shot was way more difficult

But the only problem with Kobe's shot was that it was Mike Breen and his dead commentary that called the play

If it was Marv Albert giving the "Oh! A Spectacular Move by Kobe Bryant!!!" then it would've not just looked better but also sounded better

As much as people don't realize Marv's commentary on Jordan's move made it even more special than it already is

"Havlicek steals it! Havlicek stole the ball!"

    Great call by Johnny Most.

Greer practically threw the ball to Havlicek, he just had to reach over a bit, and more importantly, Walker was just standing there. He wasn't even moving! He was just waiting for the ball to come to him.

Honestly this not even to get on Cavs fans badside, but it's not like it turned around the series or anything, I honestly believe the Devin Harris shot was better D=

I don't think it's overrated because it was done for the 1st time, because it wasn't. The Dr. himself has performed better dunks than the one vs Cooper. But it was an already big game (you can't compare Lakers vs Phili to today's Miami vs some random team), Erving was 33 and past his prime, still executed the dunk without ever needing to use his other hand in the slightest, Cooper was a great and fearless defender who, in the end, looked like a chicken, Chick Hearn was broadcasting, the combination of all these make for a memorable play.
