Re: How come Jennings decided to go off?
He's always been a pass-first PG?? How did you come up with that one??
Yeah he said he wants to average 14 assist in his rookie year, but he's always been a scorer.
He averaged 32 points and 7.5 assists his senior year in high school... scorer.
He's only averaging 5 assists in 33 minutes in the NBA.... scorer.

goddamn this kid is a pure beast. I dont think teams will go under his picks like that again
and yes bankshot-dont just look at stats and boxscores, watch the player, he's always been a pass first pointguard.

Re: Brandon Jennings scores 55 points in Bucks win over Warriors!
Will Nike give Brandon Jennings his own logo, because this guy will be better than Michael Jordan. Already better than Kobe Bryant, who made a pitiful 7.6 PPG in his rookie season.

Sign of the ignorant youngster: rebutting with "watch games" instead of actual observations or evidence
Jennings wants to be a pass-first point guard, but he will always have a scorer's mentality.
He had it in highschool, and he has it in the NBA. Doesn't make him a bad player, as it seems like he's really doing well, but he isn't now, nor will he ever be, a pass-first PG.
Pass first is a mentality, not something that can be taught, or acquired.

Not necessarily. Rubio played in Europe, came here, and went back to Europe.

Exactly. Playing in Europe doesn't mean you're ready for the NBA. He was drafted, but felt he wasn't ready.

Do you really believe that was the sole reason he didn't join the Wolves??
Lets not mention the fact that due to his draft position, he'd be losing money because of his buyout with his Euro club, he was drafted with another high-profile PG, and yes he probably wasn't physically or mentally/emotionally ready to travel half-way across the globe to join a bottom-feeding club in a foreign climate (and I'm from Minnesota)
