I like this idea.

New topic: Rank the top 2-5.

One thing is for sure, when he was out his team's win rate didn't decline by a mere 2%. (If you had -31% and -16% in the "Bulls without Pippen" pool you win)

we should break it up into 80s MJ and 90s MJ.

You can actually make the claim that MJ was not the best player for most of the 80s.

The 90s, not so much.

What is the Jordan era for you?

The Jordan era also is 84-91

If you go by the total Jordan era then its even with Charles and Hakeem

If yo goy by the overall 90s Jordan era then its Hakeem

2nd-Hakeem
3rd- Barkley

4th- Robinson
5th-Malone

Overall

I would say Shaq is 3, Malone 4 and Barkley 5

Jordan was the Best Player 1986 on easy in terms of Impact.

In the Late 80s it was Jordan, Barkley and Hakeem as the Best Payers In Terms of Impact (Level of Teamates Involed).

A 1985-1995 was clearly better than Malone

The Jordan era did not just start in 1991

It started in 1984
