Greg's always been an extremely mature kid, relative to his peers.

I agree. But there is always room for improvement. With all this newly found time off, he can learn something else or just enjoy life. He may as well relax, it seems overdoing recovery is not helping him in the long run. Just take it as it comes.

Man I hate Portland as a Laker fan but I genuinely like Oden, this sucks from my perspective, the NBA and of course Portland.

It totally deflated the Clippers team, that was playing great in Summer League, to lose him. It would be terrible if it happened over and over again.

Greg Oden's issues are especially bad for the Blazers... I don't believe they can be championship contenders unless he plays and plays well. Otherwise they are just a good jump shooting team.
