You Cant Put a Square Peg into a Round hole. thats what Trevor is. You cant make a Role Player into a Star. Atleast Carl has the Potential to be that and is far, far, far more effecient.

Trevor is not taking shots away from Landry so I don't see what he has to do with anything. There is nothing wrong with giving him the oppurtunity, the Rockets are not going anywhere. It is not like Trevor gets trigger happy in the final minutes, his spreads his missed throughout the game.

We gotta agree to disagree on this one.

A few centimeters closer and DeRozan would have been knocked out cold, from behind and with zero warning. 1-3 games. Unacceptable behavior.

The positive thing about his offence though is that he is playing within the offence and unlike Artest who has always iso himself and runs the clock down then chuck up a shot. Ariza will improve his game as time goes on. He just needs to adjust his new role on the team.

Yeah but he still tried. Like if someone tried you killed you but nearly missed, he can't just walk away from that.

So? Is there no punishment in society for attempted murder? Obviously not comparing the degree of the offense at all, but failed attempts at malicious acts are still punishable by steep judgments.

OK, sticking with the real life analogy....

Basically, it was attempted assault. Can you be arrested in real life for attempted assault? If you are at a bar get into an argument with a guy, and then throw a punch and miss completely......will you be arrested? Doubt it.

I'm just saying....he technically missed. Derozan didn't even know it happened.

Ariza was already punished. He was ejected from the game for not hitting Derozan.

I'm just playing devils advocate. He probably will get 1 game I'm guessing. I just think the NBA is starting to go overboard with suspensions. They are control freaks.....

I love Ariza but he was dead wrong for that.

And he most definitely deserves to be suspended.
