I'm completely against changing their name. You hear me Mikhail? I understand why you'd entertain the idea, new city, new owner, new image, all that. But no. Nets = ABA and ABA = great.

Nets name has a negative connotation. You can't think this person brought th eteam, is going to move it to NY, wants to market it nationally, and keep the same name. That's not fair. If the net fans wanted that, they should have prayed Ratner stayed and status quo. They've had a lax fanbase who didn't go to games, buy merchandise for like 20 years. i hardly see how its a necessity to honor that and keep the name.
