FLYING CELEBRATION: After the Mavericks completed their comeback from a 15-point deficit to win Game 2, guard Jason Terry(notes) said they were motivated by how Miami exuberantly responded in front of the Dallas bench to a 3-pointer by Dwyane Wade(notes).

“This is coming from a guy, Jason Terry, who acts like a plane every time he makes a free throw,” Udonis Haslem(notes) said. “So come on, what’s excessive celebration? … The guys makes a layup and acts like a 747. Is that excessive? Nobody complains about that.”

This. The media (and a few Mavs players that were on the bench at the time) were the only people who complained about it. Then Lebron/Wade/Heat fans acted as if that was the majority opinion. I feel the Heat are an arrogant bunch in general but I didn't really find anything wrong or excessive about their celebration.

Terry is hard to tolerate even as a Mavs fan. He's played like shit the last 4 years in the playoffs until this year.

He still is wildly inconsistent and still can't get a ****ing rebound to save his life.

He is clutch though. If he wasn't on my team he'd probably be one of my least favorite players in the league.
