aerodynamics. less wind resistance so they can jump higher and run faster. much like why swimmers shave their body and head.

Nah, I'm thinking it probably has more to do with other stuff, for example if you slide on the floor with a harry body, then it's going to hurt. But I don't know. Definitely it helps with swimmers, but not sure why in basketball. Originally Posted by rezznor
