Who was the Most Overrated Star Guard in the 2000's decade?
On another site a lot of people said that Vince Carter and Allen Iverson were the most overrated stars of the decade. Some said Kobe, some said T-Mac, some said Ray Allen, a lot has been said.
To you who has been the most overrated star this decade?

I got either Carter or Jerry Stackhouse. Not Kobe only if people say he is a top ten player

And it isn't even close. NOBODY can say otherwise. Just read some of the threads and posts on this forum alone.

Very good NBA starter
Re: Who was the Most Overrated Star Guard in the 2000's decade?
I'm sad to say this but among real stars it was McGrady. People will remember Vince for his dunks and Iverson for his scoring, but as good as he was for a rather short time, there isn't much to remember about McGrady.
Most overrated guard however was Marbury.

Jerry Stackhouse. I remember during those Piston years before the championships, he was always considered top 3-4 over Paul Pierce, and Tmac. We shut him down that series and he was never the same.
Mike friggin Bibby! He had that amazing run against the lakers and then got overpaid, and shippe dout

Not much to remember about T-Mac? He was very athletic, great length for a swingman, killer ball handling and passing skills, very good rebounder for his position, good long range and mid-range shooter who could really catch fire and as a result, in his short peak, he was a better scorer than Iverson.
Carter, was probably overrated as a Raptor and underrated as a Net. But most overrated? Probably Arenas.

VC by far because of being so popular at the time. I don't remember Kobe being overrated since Shaq was the best Laker, and Iverson was a MVP and led his team to finals.

he was the most explosive scorer next to Iverson and Kobe! People talk about Vince but Tmac had probably the most natural ability and size to be the one! I remember years ago they said it would be Kobe vs Tmac for the next 8 years.
