shit I dont see a problem with it, since that is what they are raised for. Its kind of weird that you would use a carnivore (higher trophic level) as a meat source, but my understanding is that they are actually raised on a mostly vegetal diet.



But, I also dont like how we raise meat in the US and dont participate in that system very much.

Most of us don't have cows and pigs as pets. And most of us don't become emotionally attached to our fish, so that's different.

yup. i have love dogs. couldn't ever imagine munching on one but other people wouldn't care. it's not just asia either. peruvians eat guinea pigs, some cultures eat monkeys, etc etc.
