NBA 2k11: Jordan Challenge

The Jordan Challenge is going to be hard if you keep pushing MJ to the paint all the time. The key is to have variety in offense, and start shooting mid range shots. I'm doing it on Superstar, but have only done 4 challenges so far tho.

I just got the game and started right away with a Jordan Challenge, did the Pistons one. I have no idea what the difficulty is since I didn't look at anything before playing this game.

Stats: 80 points (34-50 FG, 4-11 3PT, 8-9 FT), 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals.

Won the game 101-75.

how do you unlock the shoes? is it just random?

The Arrival wasn't too hard on all star mode. I did it in 8 minute quarters along with a comforatble winning margin of 14.

Sort of. I think some of them are unlocked through an achievement but, I unlocked probably 30 of the 40 just over time. I'd finish a game in My Player and unlock a new shoe. Guess it has something to do with how many hours or minutes you play the game.

It's not a bad idea to attack the basket if you have the open lane. Just don't force any bad shots and the scoring part of the challenges will be easy.

I've beaten the first four challenges on all star just by abusing his midrange lol.

Every 2 hours of actual game play unlocks a shoe.

!ell, I don't shoot to much jumpers with Jordan, except the game against portland where you have to. Although, the release of Jordan is pretty easy so I stray a few mid-range jumper in every now and then. But the most points I get, I do get on drives and at the line. I play on Hall of Fame.

yeah jordan in the game is really really strong at scoring in penetration even is jumpshot is excellent you might score every point of a game

playing in a video game like that is just pure pleasure !

but let's not forget that basketball is a team sport :)

I only completed the challenge against the SuperSonics so far (can't recall the name). I tried The Arrival a couple of times but I messed up my FG% in each try by going for 3's instead of driving into the lane or hitting midrange jumpers.

Honestly, I'd rather just go straight into the MyPlayer: Jordan mode instead of doing all the challenges. LOL
I mean, don't get me wrong. They're fun and challenging at the same time but my gameplay time is limited since I work, attend college and have a 24/7 job of being a father so Idk if I want to do all the challenges, fail at some and keep retrying. It'd be better for me to just start Jordan's career than do his challenges.
