Toledo is awful. I think they only have 5 scholarship players.

It just occurred to me that Larry Drew II is Larry Drew's (coach of the Hawks) son. Didn't watch the game, but it looked like Mendenhall and Bullock outplayed Drew and Strickland by quite a bit. Barnes will be fine as soon as his feet get wet, although he's never struck me as the kind of player that is going to constantly attack the basket.

Watching Duke now, and they're blowing out Princeton (which is hardly surprising), but I'm not overly impressed with this squad. They're obviously going to be a very good but their frontline doesn't impress me at all.

I'm actually intrigued by the matchup. I don't now what UConn has coming back, but Baylor has Griner and pretty much everyone else from a year ago. Griner is the most disruptive force I've ever seen in woman's college hoops. Granted, it helps that she's a dude, but still.

Who in the hell is Mendenhall? I'm assuming you mean McDonald? Maybe?

Maya Moore will be back, they lost Tina Charles and 4 other seniors, they have 2 star freshman players in Bria Hartley and Stephanie Dolson and 3 other freshmen with them on the bench. Maya Moore and Lorin Dixon are the only two seniors.

Kennesaw State handing Georgia Tech a 17 point drubbing.

Way to represent the ACC GT. Hewitt, your days are numbered.

I'm not so sure. He should have been fired like 4 years ago.

I'm going to La Salle/Baylor tomorrow. My friend goes there and had one of his buddies get me a free ticket using his ID. I put every game except for 3 on my DVR. Even the Robert Morris game so I can watch Karon Abraham again. Dude went nuts against Nova in the tourney.

It's no secret that he's a bad coach. He's saved his job several times by having good recruiting classes lined up. I agree, though, he should've been fired several years ago. There's been a number of years that Georgia Tech's roster, on paper, was one of the three most talented in the ACC, but they would finish in the bottom half of the standings.

You guys remember when Tennessee was #1 for a day? I felt like one of those OneWish kids on ESPN.
