man that was hard to watch, both for Charlie Murphy and the students. The best scenario is for Charlie to retire. he didn't deserve that no matter how bad he was.

Charlie Murphy is a terrible stand up comic, he make Shawn Wayans look like Richard Pryor.
He is however a great sketch performer ans story teller (if y'all have Chappelle Show Season 2 bonus disc, you know what I'm talkin' bout.)

Never seen Charlie's standup but I can say that the joke he was telling has ABSOLUTELY no chance of working. It needs a major edit joke if not just flat out throwing it away. It is way too wordy
