So are we downplaying Blake's performance because his team is miserable?
Next, we'll be disregarding John Wall, because his team stinks?
Generally, most teams that get the number one pick, arent very good. Is this shocking for some?

What was your point, then? That you are capable of producing excellent kneejerk analyses on NBA rookies who have accrued 11 games of experience?
I suppose that is a pretty valid point, then.

That was the first thing I noticed too (the comment) I was watching the video for the ref the first time and missed one of the replays

I don't care about promoting performances in a losing effort. If you were a reporter and I were Griffin and you were like, "What about your awesome game tonight? Did you enjoy it?"
I'd be like, "Did I enjoy losing motherfucker? Did me and Gordon enjoy playing 2 versus 5 today? Hell fucking no."
As with basketball, it doesn't matter what the hell you do, if it don't mean nothing.

/thread. i'd be way more impressed if he scored 20 with no dunks in a win.

It's different for a rookie barely done 10 games (on a seemingly cursed franchise ) than an older player. In your rookie year you're trying to get the hang of NBA level basketball, and every game like this moves you more towards improving and gaining confidence, that's why it's impressive or worth being promoted. If someone like Durant or Wade scores 44 in a losing effort though, it's useless because their level of dominance is already established.

yes its impressive he actually did shit in the 2nd half and had 7 assists along with a bunch of thunderous crowd pumping/crowd bringing in dunks, but its still a loss.
