Re: Michael Jordan basketball games on vhs and dvd
The majority of my collection is on dvd and I keep them in slim cases to maximize space. Then I have them in tall cd towers. I have several towers and have enough storage space in the home for them fortunately. I have decided to slim down my collection through the years and lately I only keep certain games. Although for Michael Jordan, I keep everything I can find!!!

I guess someone doesn't understand how a forum works, nor did they read the topic, and I still don't know why they bumped this thread.
But mmmkay. GIFs

Re: Michael Jordan basketball games on vhs and dvd
Bumping, because it seems this thread gets search traction.
The NBA has established archival functions that weren't exactly sorted out 10 years ago when this thread first appeared.
They are working peacefully with amateur archivists(to be fair, the amateurs did what they didn't... but that's another gripe). I've been informed that the league is some weird constant battles with how to legally release all information, with consent of others, including some still-standing medieval contracts on who retained broadcast recording rights for re-broadcast between venues and local stations.
Long story short, the Bulls local archive maintainers should be releasing a master list of what exists in the library and what is missing. I was told these spreadsheets are going to become public as a campaign to further improve the teams ability to record-keep.
If you have missing footage, please put pressure on the NBA and the local teams to share what information they have. Older fans die off, a lot of this stuff gets lost. It's all tragic and keeping a bootleg business up to re-distribute hard to find games will likely end soon. And heck, $50 for a bad copy of a game, I don't feel bad one bit.
