Honestly, I don't think Perkins will be as effective with OKH. The need offense in the middle. Now they just got a bunch of perimeter players..
Bad move for both team.
agreed. WTF were they thinking? This is just plain stupid. I feel sorry for Celtic fans truly. The management just ****ed them over big time.

Don't count the Celtics out. They were playing just fine without Perkins when he was injured, they can continue to play just find without him on the team. Right now what they need is offense off the bench and they picked up a quality Center in Kirtzic (I don't know how to spell his name LOL.).

lol, so much for , "The Celtics would have won if Perkins didn't get hurt".
Yea, the Boston organization thinks so highly of the supposed difference maker of last seasons finals,
so they traded him!

Re: Perkins to OKC, Green to BOS
Boston has a knack for getting players that they traded away back. I can think of Delonte West and Green so far off the top of my head.
Does this mean they will go after Al Jefferson in the future

Re: Perkins to OKC, Green to BOS
Good Trade for OKC. Green was becoming a liability. He was already offered an extension, but wanted top dollar. Green was always the guy Presti would eventually deal for a big man. If Perkins can keep his knees under him, Thunder just got real good.

What's funny is in the myplayer mode in 2k11 in my season the Celtics also traded Perk and Nate but they did it to Charlotte in my season, they also won the championship so hopefully life imitates art.

That's the talk of the rumor mill in Boston right now.
Him, a good shot at Troy Murphy and then a wing. Not sure who the wing would be but we'll see what happens.
Danny wouldn't have made these moves today if there wasn't something else coming down the pipeline.
