I love watching this show cause History is my favorite subject. I really like the fight scenes, the nudity, and the storyline.

I am finishing up Spartacus Blood and Sands unbelievable show. An absolute must see with so many twist and turns. If you like Plot, Sex, Violence (Blood & Gutz), Twist this is the must see TV show.

I will start Spartacus God of the Arena later on today.

yelp, terrific show. You'll be very satisfied with Season 2 as well. It's ashame the main dude, Andy Whitfield got sick and can't continue with the show.

I suggest watching the miniseries god of the arena first then watching blood and sands.

Awesome epic 2 series!

Bump.

This show is ****ing great, perhaps my favorite of all time. The acting is excellent and they really play their parts well, I just don't like how Talinus and his little blonde comrade didn't look like the stereotypical Roman. I was impressed with John Hannah, plays his part with alot of passion. The fighting scenes are awesome as well and what some other poster mentioned the dude with the net/trident who burned the opponent was perhaps the most epic scene in cinema..

Gannicus also should have boinked Diona(the slave who got executed). She was a dime

BTW, Why the **** did they spoil the ****ing series in the first few minutes of the first episode. It doesn't make sense to show the betiartus dying before the series starts..(I know that it's a prequel)

Well, I didn't see the first series because GOA is the prequel. I'm guessing he dies in the first series then and the first few minutes of GOA are shown as a reminder of the last episodes shown.

So is Gannicus Spartacus?

No, Gannicus is a totally different character.
It makes sense since Spartacus was a Thracian while I don't think Gannicus was(was he a Gaul?) Anyways Spartacus has big shoes to fill being the Alpha male character as Gannicus was a beast..
