All the Spurs need to do is loss 4 more games until their meeting with LA; and LA needs to win their remaining 11 games. They have a meeting with SA at Staples, it could decide the HCA.

4 losses over their last 9 games isn't impossible considering they have a pretty difficult schedule. Still even if LA falls short, like 2-3 games, I'd still be impressed considering they were at one point back like 10 games.

    Could the unthinkable happen?
    Nope.

    Win @ Memphis
20 point blowout win vs Blazers
Win vs Celtics if Duncan's back
Rockets game could go either way
    win vs Suns

    LA won't even get close.

And it's hilarious that LA fans have been so scared of the Spurs all season that they're basically celebrating any injuries or losses the Spurs get.

LA are 13-1 in their last 14 games since the ASG, destroying your team in the process. I'm pretty sure Spurs fan feel the anxiety, not LA fans.

We're pretty confidant right about now.

Dirkules is going to be angry and will single handedly beat the lakers at staples next week, ending the lakers' chances at the 1 seed.

Not a Lakers fan, but was JUST about to start this thread.

Spurs vs Portland, Boston, and then @ Houston is gonna be a tough road to hoe.

To end the season @ LAL and @ Suns, on back to back nights could determine the #1 seed in the west.

after reviewing the spurs schedule it looks like there is a fairly good chance that the lakers may catch them. Their schedules look brutal

And TD and Manu are banged up. The most important factor is that they have a game @ LA left. If Lakers keep winning, Spurs will feel the pressure

Lakers still just as close to getting the 4 seed as they are the 1 seed.

True but i would not bet on it. They look like they are finishing strong and not limping to the playoffs unlike boston and S.A.
