NBA sixth man of the year
Nerdy/geeky NBA players
Like the title says, which nba players are nerdy/geeky do you know about? I don't know about you, but I'm always shocked when athletics are into nerdy things.
Danny Granger is a comic book guy, who collects superhero action figures and comics. He wants to build a batcave (seriously).

Tim Duncan is a geeky guy. He is video game geek who plays Starcraft and World of Warcraft. He also likes to collect swords and dungeon and dragon stuff. He has a tattoo of Merlin from Arthurian lore, and he's into the WWE (could that be geeky?).

Chris Bosh is a computer nerd. I read somewhere that he knows some programming languages and is a Harry Potter fan.

Kurt Rambis may not be a nerd, but he looks nerdy.

Im not sure how to respond or contribute, but that was mildly interesting, no sarcasm.
oh oh oh I just rememberd K-mart I think played violin or something in college. Just looking at him, as a professional musician myself, not a chance he sounded decent, but still interesting.

What is the world coming to when reading is considered nerdy?

Re: Nerdy/geeky NBA players
Kevin McHale I always thought was real nerdy looking when I was growing up. Same for Danny Ainge with his wailing desperate panic look all the time.
Those Boston teams were just nerdy in general. Bird looked like a total nerd. Even Dennis Johnson was kind of nerdy for a brotha.

Everyone reads...
As for playing video games, I truly don't believe that makes you a nerd. It just depends how much you play and how much you get into it.

Re: Nerdy/geeky NBA players
I just read a few days ago that Andrew Bynum is a computer wiz. He has at least 7 computers that he built himself. He liked taking things like telephones apart to see how they worked and then put them back together. I think there were other things too.
