I think LA's are...9 of those Boston titles came when the NBA was in it's infant stage compared to the Lakers 5. Lakers won in better decades 80's 5 , 2000's 4, and 2010's era 1 hopefully getting 2. They did it in era's with greater comp and players. So there for LA's championships...more impressive.

Nah, the Celtics have dominated the Lakers too much during their championship runs. Besides, they had the 11 in 13 years. Only the Bulls ever came remotely anywhere near that. The Lakers never put up a long enough stretch of dominance.

Boston's are much better.

i'll admit it. i'd prefer boston. we can beat them. i know this, well, because LA did. miami is not a good matchup. beyond the two games they beat us in, they excel in transition points. LA sucks at transition D. bad combo. also, wade generally goes off on LA. miami is better equipped at messing with LA's weaknesses.

hey, i respect boston. don't just go around posting boston-related posts. i think miami is a far worse matchup for LA than boston is, esp when bynum is game

I'd very much rather face the Celtics. You'd rather beat the best, and if you're going to be beat, might as well get beat by one of the best, not some ready made team of chumps. As much as I hate the Celtics I can respect them as one of the elites.

No, not at all. If we win over Heat it will mean we are on finals and we will be the ones eliminate them. If they win, probably i will cheer for them in finals..it would better to lose next champion.

Yeah, even if the Heat sweep the Celtics, the Bulls still has a big chance to eliminate them. I think the Bulls will make it to the Finals.

Why would the Lakers be afraid of any team? Back to back champs with a better team on paper than the previous two years. Is it cause of the 0-2 against Miami? What about their record against the Magic in 09? I think Miami can beat LA but c'mon, no ones scared of the Heat. Not the Bulls, not the Celtics, not the Thunder, not the Lakers. But Miami isn't scared of any team either, except Boston, just a little.
