This game right here is WHY he's a member of the Miami Heat this year...because he knows that for all his greatness and all his highlight reel play, he's not The Man and he doesn't have the guts to ever be.

When Lebron knows he's better than you, good luck stopping him. His confidence soars and at that point he's daring you to try and stop him from dismantling you. He's an absolute sight to behold in those situations and one need only watch how he was instrumental in closing out the Bulls, Celtics and 76ers this year to see that.

Now he's up against a Dallas team that's scrapping and clawing and fighting for every single inch the Heat are clawing for...and its for all the marbles. He's not looking at a Dallas team that's afraid of the damage he's capable of doing. And he knows it. Now we see Lebron put up against some adversity and just like Game 5 last season in Boston, he abandons the leadership and the bravado in favor of retreating into his shell.

THIS is why he plays with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Cos unless the odds are overwhelmingly in his favor, he's not going to do the heavy lifting.

The thing is, mind games aren't why Lebron sucked last night. People have tried to get into his head for years and it seems like for the most part, he plays better and more aggressively after people talk shit about him.
