Because there aren't any idiotic Muslims or Jews on this website making threads to spew their radical views and look down upon people that don't think along the same lines as them, such as Bladers does. Bladers view of the world doesn't represent other Christian's views. If a self proclaimed Muslim or Jew came out making threads similar to his, I'm pretty sure people would be all over his a** as well.

it's an obvious double standard, they think its ok to insult someone if they're going to have the comfort of still being in the majority, but if you insult someone who may feel excluded... well that's a crime against humanity.


Just one of those things. The people who claim to be for equality and tolerance are really only for equality and tolerance on their terms - which usually is just a shift in favor from the majority to the minority, rather than truly applied equality to both.

Actually no, because you never hear the word "sheep" and "redneck" etc. applied to Jews as you do with Christians. Christian intelligence is often stereotyped whereas Jewish intelligence and motivation for being faithful is not.

My family is non-Christian and of a different faith but we've had this Catholic nun who's like grandmother to us since I was a kid. She never talks about religion with us, only about our life and how we're doing. And she has never asked us to attend her Church either. I believe most Christians are like her and not like Pat Roberts or any Evangelist we see on TV.

Because of her I don't get annoyed by the fundamentalists or try to bash Christianity either.

I know there are people like that, there is no denying that fact, but to say that Muslims are stupid and cause terrorism is just as dumb as calling someone a redneck, sheep, or hipster. There is no reason to refer to name calling when it comes to Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, etc. You seem to be infatuated with placing people who share similar beliefs, backgrounds, or views into groups instead of acknowledging the individual. Be specific of who is stupid and causes terrorism. If you were a Muslim, how would it feel to have the word lingering over your head? I have many Muslim friends, as well as Christian, and none of them cause terrorism so I don't know why you choose to word it that way. If you worded it differently, there would be no issue.

In his first hypothetical, he uses 'Christians are just trying to control you.. God is bullshit'.. but that isn't something that is specific to only Christians. That can apply to Jews, Muslims, or Christians. That is a generic religious statement. The only difference is that on this board we dont have a resident jewish troll or a resident muslim troll.. we have Bladers, resident Christian troll. So naturally, that is what is always being trashed. If Bladers was a muslim and kept quoting the Quaran and saying we were all fools for not believing in Islam, we would be having the same arguments.

Let's face it, this is mostly a US forum, and in the US 85% of the population is Christian. That's the reason why the discussion on here (and probably in the US) gravitates more towards Christians than it does towards another religious movement.
