My reaction when the bomb went off and Gus walked out of the room
    "**** OFF!"
then they pan around and you see half his face missing
    "HOLY SHIT!"

Here's some good stuff with Vince Gilligan going through each episode of Season 4

This. If Jesse's original hunch was true - that Saul's crony took the smoke off of him somehow when he was searching him - then obviously Saul signed on to Walt's plan to poison the kid as well.

I did think someone was gonna bust up Walt and Jesse on the rooftop at the end. You could hear skipping like what happens when you drive the corners of parking lots too fast. I thought someone was burning rubber up to the top to catch them.

I think he would have swapped Jesse's pack of cigarettes for a new pack of cigarettes.

That's why it was so important for them to get Jesse to Saul's office. Also we know that Saul knows the kid and visits the house because he drops off money from Jesse to the mother.

So that would mean that Walt convinced Saul he would be in danger if Gus lived.

re: gus's man not finding the bomb.

i think maybe walter hadn't fastened the bomb to the wheelchair yet thinking gus would send someone to do a sweep first to make sure things were clear for gus to proceed.

after he did the check, walter probably climbed back in the window and installed the bomb.

also i bet we get one of those before the opening credits flashback scenes laying out how walt poisoned brock and what happened with the cigarettes. this show doesn't hesitate to let us in on intricate details like that.

and gus must live on in flashbacks! such a great character

    Could it be the FBI?

    or..... perhaps Mike?
Tryus wasn't looking for a bomb. He was sweeping for bugs. What possible reason would he have for thinking there was a bomb when the guy just returned from the DEA? Remember, the guy is in a wheelchair, can't move, and all his friends are dead. Gus is not aware Walter knows him. It was an oversight.

He went and found another way home. He just didn't trust the car.

The bomb wasn't in the room yet.
When the room is being swept for bugs you see Walt outside the window of the room. He was holding the bomb.

Did anyone else find the scene when the old lady was saying "Hi" "Hello" to Walt disturbing as ****?

Good finale to Breaking Bad, played out exactly as I expected.

I'm very interested to see what happens to the meth production.

Both cartels have been destroyed, but the demand remains. Walt and Jesse no longer have the means to produce the blue stuff on a large scale.

Do they go back to producing small batches and sell it for a premium price? Or do they just abandon it altogether?

I'm hoping for the latter. The seeds for Walt's downfall have already been sown. There's really no need to devote a bunch of time to continued meth production.
