So basically it's inferior to GoW 1; I'll pass. Not a fan of GOW or Halo but I enjoyed combat evolved and the first gears. The sequels, were not overly innovative. I'll just buy U3 and ME3 for 2011.

For any GoW MP veterans here, got any tips for a rookie? I played the first two games but I never got into the multiplayer.

I just have a feeling that im going to get somewhat disappointed with the online multiplayer like i did with Gears 2.

There are dedicated servers this time around, that will at least remove the "host advantage" the previous games had.

Control of the weapon spawns was the key to most maps.

This one played more lancer based so that should help you.

What I did in the beta was used either lancer and the sawed off shotgun for close range, had some huge games doing that. Basically just chill out and learn how people play it, and develop counter strategies like a normal game. About 85% of the gears pop. plays the same.

I just bought gears 1 and have yet to play it, I think i may skip gears 2 and go straight to 3, but thats if I don't buy Skyrim :P
