The origin of the dollar
A mining hole in the mountains of Bohemia produced so much silver it became the official source of coinage for the entire Holy Roman Empire. The mine was in a valley called Joachimsthal, and the coins came to have the same name:

Finally, a bot post that's actually a semi-interesting read.

I'm really anxious to see how good Khem Birch is in person. Hopefully he's not a massive disappointment like Dante Taylor.

Kentucky plays against some school I've never heard of today. Still, I'm excited to see how Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb fit in with the uber talented freshman class.
Looking forward to seeing Davis, Teague, and Gilchrist in action.

Long Beach State, as expected, is voted to finish tops in the Big West. CSUN is expected to finish 8th, again (last year as well, but finished 3rd at 9-7)

Man, Butler lost to Northern State (some tiny little school in South Dakota) in exhibition. Purdue just stomped a hole in Northern State not even 24 hours prior so they had to have been worn out. Might be a long year for the Bulldogs.

Duke, who didn't exactly look like world-beaters against Bellarmine and only beat Shaw 80-66 tonight. Of course it's really hard to take too much from those scrimmages.
