They do that every year. Lose to a mid-major or two and still manage to put together a solid regular season. Still, that's not a good loss at all.

Some nice timing for Central Florida, haven't even seen it on the ESPN ticker.

A runner/booster (always a good combo) was giving money and jobs to recruits and families. The AD and an assistant football coach were fired. Head hoops coach Donnie Jones got a 3 game suspension. NCAA dropped the "lack of institutional control" hammer.

Right now would be the perfect time for any school to come out with any past recruiting violations they know they are on the verge of having revealed.

Too many good teams in action today at once. UNC-MSU, UConn, and Kentucky all on at the same time…looks like I'll be flipping back and forth between ESPN and ESPNU with ESPN3 on my computer.

Just looking through the list of top 25 games, I see so many NBA draft prospects playing today…
UNC: Harrison Barnes, Tyler Zeller, John Henson, James McAdoo
UK: Michael Gilchrist, Terrence Jones, Doron Lamb, Anthony Davis, Marquis Teague
    OSU: Jared Sullinger, Will Buford
UConn: Andre Drummond, Jeremy Lamb, Alex Oriakhi, Roscoe Smith, Shabazz Napier
Duke: Austin Rivers, Mason Plumlee, Ryan Kelly, Seth Curry
    Vandy: Jeff Taylor, John Jenkins
    Louisville: Chane Behanan, Petyon Siva
    Florida: Patric Young, Brad Beal
Pitt: Ashton Gibbs, Khem Birch, Dante Taylor
Baylor: Perry Jones, Quincy Miller, Quincy Acy
    Kansas: Elijah Johnson, Thomas Robinson
    Michigan: Tim Hardaway Jr.
    Xavier: Tu Holloway
    Alabama: Jamychal Green
    Cal: Jorge Gutierrez
    Mizzou: Marcus Denmon, Kim English
    UCLA: Josh Smith, Reeves Nelson
    Gonzaga: Elias Harris, Robert Sacre
    WVU: Kevin Jones, Deniz Kilicli

wow...crazy that Baylor got isiah Austin. Why? I think both he and Jones would be better off somewhere else.

    Surprised Drummond isn't starting.

Calhoun going with Napier, Lamb, Smith, Olander, and Oriakhi.

UConn looking scary already. Napier on fire. They go at least 8-9 deep.

This UNC-MSU game might not be outdoors soon, rain looks like it's moving in towards San Diego.

Robbie Hummel looks GREAT. We'll see how winded he gets with big minutes, but looks as athletic as ever (which obviously isn't saying a lot I know), had a few plays where he'll go up through contact and come down with his knee at an awkward angle and it's like nothing ever happened. Gotten a lot bigger in the upper body too.
