My first pick is....

After we are done drafting, pm the commish (boogie) with a list numbered 1-8. For each slot place one person on your team in said slot. You can though, place more than one person in a slot. This is called trumping, when you trump one slot gains extra persons but another slot must be left empty (there is no limit, but rarely do you see it go past 2).

Then Boogie will list out all the matchups for us. We'll all see our round one opponents. Something for instance, My team: Wolverine v. your team: Cyclops. We (you and I) would then argue why our person should win. If at the end you and I tie (in all out match ups) 4-4 we go to a team battle, where we would then argue why our overall team is better and basically lay out a strategy. This is why a lot of the participants pick all goodies or all baddies on our teams. If you have a team made up of both good and bad, judges may feel that your team would not be able to work with each other w/out some in fighting among your team. Others, say F*ck team battles, and draft the best available.

But basically all you do is turn in your #'s and then argue as the match ups are posted.

dang i'd lose in the argument part, unless its a clear mismatch. anyway i think zen mentioned in the other thread it will be 5 characters instead of 8, but i could be wrong.
