    I don't even care about Kobe but that's stupid. Wilt can't >Magic and Shaq>Kobe if you're talking about greatest players for a franchise you have to consider how long these players played for their franchise and Kobe and Magic played basiclly their whole career for LA and brought success in records or championships

    Whiles wilt Spent a very good number of years on other teams and Shaq spent a very good number of years on Orlando and Miami

    If he wins two more FMVP's, I think you would be having second thoughts and debating your decision. You would probably be hoping on and off his pipe, repeatedly.

    Keep in mind, Kobe has actually played MORE games than MJ.

    Career PPG Regular Season
    MJ: 30.12 (Best Ever)
    KB: 25.3 (10th Best Ever)

    Career PPG Postseason
    MJ: 33.4 (Best Ever)
    KB: 25.4 (14th best ever)

    Single Regular Season High
    MJ: 37.1
    KB: 35.4

    Single Postseason High
    MJ: 43.7
    KB: 32.8

    Scoring Titles
    MJ: 10 (including 7 straight)
    KB: 2

    Times Leading Postseason in PPG
    MJ: 10
    KB: 3

    Regular Seasons 25+ PPG
    MJ: 11
    KB: 11

    Regular Seasons 30+ PPG
    MJ: 8
    KB: 3

    Regular Seasons 35+ PPG
    MJ: 2
    KB: 1

    Postseasons 25+ PPG
    MJ: 13
    KB: 8

    Postseasons 30+ PPG
    MJ: 12
    KB: 4

    Postseasons 35+ PPG
    MJ: 5
    KB: 0

    Postseasons 40+ PPG
    MJ: 1
    KB: 0

    Single Game Regular Season High
    MJ: 69
    KB: 81

    Single Game Postseason High
    MJ: 63
    KB: 50

    Regular Season Games with 50 or more Points
    MJ: 31
    KB: 24

    Postseason Games with 50 or more Points
    MJ: 8
    Kobe: 1

    And that's just scoring, Kobe's biggest strength, and MJ is still clearly better (much better in playoffs and against elite defenses). MJ shits on Kobe as a defender (he deserved his all-defense teams and won a DPOY too), was a better rebounder and passer, won FMVP EVERY finals MVP he ever played in and was much more efficient than Kobe. So no, I don't really care how many more "RINGZZZ" Kobe wins, he'll never be close to Jordan. Sorry.

    I'm still pretty new here. I was trying to figure out what the green dots and red dots were under people's names. Did you know that when you put your cursor over his red dots it says

    "Nick Young has one of the lowest reputations on this board"

    Which explains how he makes this thread.

    So True.

    Finalz VS Boston.

    Turnovers.
    Kobe : 28
    Gasol : 13

    G1.
    Gasol : 23 / 14 (8 0ffensive) / 3 / 3BPG | 57% shooting
    Kobe : 30 / 7 / 6 | 45% shooting
    G1 = Gasol > Kobe

    G2.
    Gasol : 25 / 8 / 3 / 6BPG | 70% shooting
    Kobe : 21 / 5 / 6 | 40% shooting
    G2 = Gasol > Kobe

    G3.
    Gasol : 13 / 10 / 4 / 2BPG | 46% shooting
    Kobe : 29 / 7 / 4 | 34% shooting
    G3 = Kobe > Gasol

    G4.
    Gasol : 21 / 6 / 3 / 2BPG | 46% shooting
    Kobe : 33 / 6 / 2 | 45% shooting
    G4 = Kobe > Gasol

    G5.
    Gasol : 12 / 12 (7 0ffensive) | 42% shooting
    Kobe : 38 / 5 / 4 | 48% shooting
    G5 = Kobe > Gasol

    G6.
    Gasol : 17 / 13 (5 0ffensive) / 9 / 3BPG | 44% shooting
    Kobe : 26 / 11 / 3 | 47% shooting
    G6 = Gasol > Kobe

    G7.
    Gasol : 19 / 18 (9 offensive) / 4 / 2BPG | 38% shooting
    Kobe : 23 / 15 / 2 | 25% shooting
    G7 = Gasol > Kobe

    Finalz Summary.
    7 Games.
    Gasol better in 4/7 Games
    Gasol better in 3/4 Games Won
    Kobe better in 3/7 Games
    Gasol > Kobe in Finalz.

    Lets take a look at the #s. People think I'm a Kobe hater. I'm really not. I'm an analytical observer and not impressed with "his killer instinct", etc over measurables.

    Jordan led the league in WS and PER a total of 16 times. Kobe has never led the league in either. There are complaints about how PER but that complaint is that it favors the volume shooter, something that should benefit Kobe. IN FACT, KOBE HAS NEVER even been SECOND in PER. And his PER totals are inflated due to his volume shooting as evidenced by his WS totals. HE HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE TOP THREE in WS.

    Go watch game 7 of the 06 Suns series or the Finals against the Pistons. All of you that say LBJ quit the last two years will see equally pouty and poor play from Kobe.

    He is a great player. He will probably be in my top 10 of all time due to his consistent greatness over the years. But better than MJ? STFU.

    He will probably always be borderline top 10 for me.

    He might get my 10 spot but West/Oscar/KG all have solid arguments for it with a few other people.

    + I strongly believe he will be surpassed by Wade and Lebron when all is said and done. Its practically inevitable at this point unless they suffer serious injurys.

    Because the people who only rate him as only the 4th best Laker of all time are dorks on a message board and the people who rate him as the greatest Laker of all time are fellow greats.

    No sane person can think Kobe is better than Kareem.
