The heights they release are bullsh!t, pure and simple.

In college I was listed at everything from 6'6" to 6'8.5". I was neither height.

The heights at the combine, where they're officially measured, are bs? Or the heights the NBA lists their players at are bs? I think we all know the latter is true, but I don't think they fudge the heights when measuring players at the combine.

Asking if I'm blind because of what I saw in that pic? Really? Of course it's more conclusive when you use a zoomed in version of the pic, dumbass. Go back and look at the other one and tell me what I said is wrong. And I'm not even try to say or argue Durant is 6'11" or 7'0". I think, at best, he's probably 6'9.25"-6'9.5" w/o shoes, and probably between 6'10"-6'11" in shoes. I agree with you, I just think you're picking bad pictures to make your point.

Yes, Durant is standing straight up but, regardless of which version of the picture you use, Dirk still is tilting his head UP and, in the zoomed out version, it looks like he's leaning in and slightly up on his toes. In the zoomed out picture (the first one you posted) only.

And the third pic in this post (I deleted it in the quote) is another bad one to use for this argument They're standing too far apart and the crowd in the background makes it very hard to gain any perspective in comparing their heights. The All-Star pic is a pretty good one, though.

you obviously didn't take any photography classes. durant is closer to the camera, so your point is moot.

but i do agree with your estimation on durant's barefoot height.
