WRONG FORUM
OP is trolling
The board is clearly saying that no posts related to the Euroleague can be allowed here.
That is the claim being made in this thread:

Spanoulis playing injured then. He seems better now. Lucas injured. Now he is playing. Antic injured then. He seems better now. So Olympiacos will be much stronger than they were then.
Keselj is playing now too, but he sucks anyway so he does not count. Papadopoulos still seems hurt.
The main problem for Olympiacos is Vasilopoulos and Pelekanos being injured. If not for that then guys like Mantzaris, Papanikoloau, and Katsivelis would not be paying 20-25 minutes a game and then Spanoulis could spend his whole time at PG, instead of having to cover for the absence of Pelekanos.
If Olympiacos ever gets their 9 man rotation healthy, they should be pretty good. Howard does not seem to be ready for this year, but Lucas does.
PG Spanoulis/Lucas
SG Gecevicius - Pelekanos
SF Vasilopoulos - Pelekanos
PF Printezis/Hines
C Antic/Papadopoulos
From what I have seen so far, if they just get that main 9 man rotation set as they expected...they will be pretty good. It actually looks to be a much better team than I expected it would be - if it just gets healthy.

Hines was the only one who impressed me here.

Printezis played really well last week against Fener, haven't seen him play that well in years.
Hines has a really unorthodox style of play for his size/position, but it seems pretty effective.
BTW, do you know why Reggie Williams isn't getting many minutes? He seems to be productive in the minutes he does get

If you don't play like Dusko wants you to, you do NOT play at all. As easy as that. The European Sloan.
Also, Ribas has been playing well, Ivanovic is in love with Oleson and San Emeterio's the league MVP... there's not that many minutes for all.

He's the European Jeff Van Gundy, not the European Sloan.

I don't know, IMO his style (not exactly the coaching one) is really old school.
Look at Seraphin's minutes when he doesn't do what Ivanovic wants.

Hines is good on offense in the open court and in pick and roll he is decent, but he's also way too undersized. He is about a 50/50 in production for the team. Whatever he scores he gives up in points and fouls. He should be used as a SF but Ivkovic is too stubborn and is playing him at PF, where he is getting abused on defense even in Greek League.
Still, he is good enough in the open court on offense to be an even split in production. Hines and Papadopoulos are actually the weakest links in Olympiacos main rotation, if you count all the facets of the game.
The strongest links are Spanoulis, Gecevicius, and Printezis.

He had a good game here, and while he couldn't stop Banic, few teams have been able so far this season.

Which is why I said, he's like the European Jeff Van Gandy. Believe me, Sloan is much more lenient than those guys.
Sloan will even allow his players to run their own plays and offense and everyone will at least get a chance with Sloan.
Ivanovic is the same type of guy as Jeff Van Gundy....Napoleon complex.

Hines is an absolutely horrible player on defense in every game of Olympiacos so far. The book is out on him after last year. Teams are now going after him. He gives up whatever he scores.
Spanoulis, Gecevicius, Printezis are much better and more important all around players than Hines is. Hines is pretty good on offense though, although his pick and roll game needs tome polish.
