Kobe has torn lunotriquetral ligament on right wrist. Per Dr. Klapper on @710ESPN says need rest MAYBE 3-4 weeks to properly heal.

I was hoping Kobe would break a finger or two. We always win championships when he does that.

He should just rest. He's already got ****ed up fingers, an ankle that's prone to injury, and bad knees. The last thing he needs is the wrist on his shooting arm becoming a liability.

Dr. Klapper added depending on severity of injury Kobe might only miss few days.

Kobe's only going to miss a few days regardless of severity. I would like to see him sit out though.

Bynum is out first 5 games so we know Kobe is going play through it and carry the team, injured or not but he should just shit his ass down.

What a blow. You get an extended period of time off due to the lockout to rebound from injuries and then you get hit with something like this during a preseason game. He shouldn't have reentered the game in the 4th a couple of nights ago... completely pointless, thickheaded gesture. He wasn't going to will that team to a win on Monday night.

The guy will definitely play the season opener, no doubt. Though he won't be 100%, obviously. He realizes Bynum is gone, chemistry is lacking and they'll be reeling from the loss of Odom... he's not going to sit in street clothes and watch Rose tear his team apart.
